Clutching his throat, Misael could hardly gather his words last week when he patted my chest and asked me, “Where does a heart like this come from?” I wanted him to unpack his question a bit so I responded, “What do you mean?”

Fighting back tears he said, “I would be dead that day….if you had not stopped to pick me up!”

Just one month ago we inaugurated Casa Mayor Amor, a men's addiction recovery house in El Salvador. Within a month of opening the doors, we have already welcomed over 20 men, chained by addiction, who have now been completely transformed. One of our first rescues was a man named Cruz. God has delivered him from a path of death and set him on a new path of life in Jesus! Casa Mayor Amor has only been open a month and has already had tremendous results!

What a powerful season we are in! The enemy has had a stronghold in our region for way too long! A couple of years ago, I noticed more and more young people were getting chained down to the bondage of addiction. It became very normal to walk the streets and see an addict passed out on the sidewalk. The Lord began to profoundly stir my heart.

We are pumped for what God has in store these next couple months. We have a summer full of teams and lots of projects we will be working on.

The verse that says With God ALL things are possible has truly come to life over the last few years. It's so easy to get caught up stressing about all the details that we forget we serve a God who already has the details figured out. We laugh now when God gives us a crazy dream that seems impossible, because we know he is about to take us on a wild journey. We say yes and wait to see the story unfold!

As we reflect on 2022, it is incredible to see all that we were able to accomplish. God has opened doors that we would have never imagined. We have expanded in so many areas and our entire team just stands in complete awe of what God is doing. We know that this is just the beginning of what God has in store.

We were able to host over 200 youth and adults in El Salvador this summer. We handed out Bibles to children in remote villages, preached the gospel in church services, on the streets and in schools. We went on many home visits to pray for the sick and bring food to many families in need.
